Origin story.

We’re Kayla and Andrew, the husband-and-wife team behind Party Proper. Since 2017, we’ve been producing elevated, design-forward entertainment experiences for discerning clients who value intention, artistry, and proper execution.

Andrew’s background in live music—shaped by a childhood steeped in gospel and jazz—gives him a deep understanding of how sound can transform a space. He oversees all talent and live music programming, translating each client’s vision into custom-curated performances that feel both effortless and unforgettable. He also leads our day-of production, ensuring everything runs with precision and purpose.

Kayla serves as the vital link between clients, planners, and venues, managing communication and logistics to ensure the entertainment vision is flawlessly integrated into the event.
